Hi, I'm Julian! I'm a Colombian chef and hospitality professional living in Osaka.
For years I've led kitchen and service teams in busy and luxury venues in Japan, including Expo Osaka 2025, The Castle Kobe and Le Salon 2100. I've trained staff from many countries, so I know how to explain things clearly, patiently and step by step. I speak Spanish (native), English and Japanese.
What I can help you with
- Spanish conversation: relaxed, practical Latin American Spanish for travel, restaurants and making friends. Beginners welcome!
- Hospitality job interviews: practice real interview questions for hotel and restaurant jobs in English or Spanish, with honest feedback from someone who has hired and trained staff.
- Small restaurant consulting: menu design, cost control, kitchen workflow and food hygiene standards in Japan. I hold the 食品衛生管理者 (Food Hygiene Manager) certification.
My lessons are friendly and practical: no pressure, lots of real conversation, and you'll leave each lesson with something you can use right away.
