Hello and welcome!
My name is Armita, and I’m a certified English teacher based in the UK with over 10 years of teaching and tutoring experience. Teaching has been a meaningful part of my life for many years, and I truly enjoy helping students grow in confidence and express themselves clearly in English.

I’ve worked with students from many different countries and cultural backgrounds, and one thing I hear often is: “I understand English, but I don’t feel confident speaking.”
Helping students overcome this barrier is one of my favourite parts of teaching.

 

Teaching Background

I am a Level 5 TEFL-certified teacher (220 hours) with a Master’s degree in Psychology and an academic background in Business & Management. Alongside English, I have taught Business, Economics, and Psychology, which allows me to support both practical communication and academic or professional English.

My teaching experience includes online and in-person lessons, mainly one-to-one, with learners at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. I have worked with students preparing for daily communication, work and business situations, academic study, and exams such as IELTS (speaking support).

 

Teaching Style & Lessons

My lessons are friendly, structured, and highly personalised. I teach adult learners at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.

Lessons can include:

  • Conversational English and speaking practice

  • Pronunciation and listening skills

  • Business and professional English

  • Academic English and formal communication

  • Confidence-building and natural expression

I use a variety of materials such as guided conversation, real-life topics, articles, videos, role-plays, and structured exercises. I often recommend starting with an introductory lesson, so we can understand your goals and create a learning plan that suits you best.

What makes my lessons different is my background in Psychology and coaching. I understand how mindset, anxiety, and confidence affect learning, and I create a safe, supportive environment where mistakes are welcome and progress feels natural.

Learning English is not just about grammar; it’s about feeling comfortable, confident, and understood. My goal is to help you enjoy the learning process and use English more naturally in real-life situations.
