Hello! My name is Kasumi. I am a Japanese teacher.

I studied abroad in the Cotswolds, England. At that time, I learned that learning a language is the best way to connect with people. I hope you can also enjoy learning Japanese and connect with many people.

In my lessons,I focus on grammar.
Grammar can be difficult, but I try to explain it in a simple way. I use real-life examples, PowerPoint slides, role-plays, and even small items like origami, pens, or food. These activities make grammar easier and more fun.

I want to help you move from “I understand” to “I can use it.” When you can use grammar in conversation, speaking Japanese will be more enjoyable.

I look forward to studying Japanese with you!

Favorite food: Ramen (My favorite is ramen from Yamaokaya. Please tell me about your favorite ramen shop!)

Hobbies: Walking (I enjoy walking while feeling Japan’s four seasons.)
Visiting bakeries (I love cream bread the most!)
