Hi, my name is Ramona, but you can call me May — I'm a passionate English tutor from South Africa with over 5 years of experience helping students of all ages and levels feel confident, comfortable, and excited about learning English.

My teaching style is warm, flexible, and highly student-centered. I believe every learner is unique, so I take the time to get to know your goals, learning style, and interests. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to fine-tune your speaking or business English skills, I’ll adapt each lesson to suit your pace and preferences.

In our lessons, you can expect a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere where mistakes are welcome (because that’s how we grow!). I focus on natural conversation, practical vocabulary, and real-world communication — not just textbooks or grammar drills. We’ll use games, discussion, stories, and role plays to keep things fun, meaningful, and memorable.

As a language learner myself (I’m currently studying Japanese), I understand the challenges of learning a new language — and how important it is to feel supported and understood. I’ll be your guide and cheerleader every step of the way.
