Hello! I’m Erisa.
I was born in Japan, lived in South Korea from the age of 8, and returned to Japan after graduating from university.
At this point in my life, I have now spent around half and half between Japan and South Korea!
I can share not only about the Korean language, but also the cultural nuances and living atmosphere of both countries.
Actually, when I moved to South Korea when i was just 8 years old, I knew absolutely no Korean.
I entered a regular elementary school and, even while crying, I learned Korean through daily conversations and television.
This is exactly why I understand beginner level learners’ “stumbling points” and “easy-to-remember methods” so well. By translating for my mother, who couldn’t speak Korean, since I was a child, I naturally developed the “ability to convey things.” Wanting to use this experience to assist everyone’s Korean language learning is why I’m working hard as a Korean language tutor.
I have experience teaching Korean in a classroom setting, but I now also offer lessons online. I strive to provide detailed and enjoyable lessons tailored to each individual learner’s goals and learning pace.
Beginners and those who have already studied it prior but have forgotten are both very welcome in my lessons!
I will use many words rooted in daily life, covering topics from Korean dramas and cooking to seasonal events, and even discussions about colors and design.
It’s okay to make mistakes! Let’s continue having fun together, as if we’re enjoying chatting.
Let’s enjoy learning “communicative Korean” together♪
I also work on wall art, textile creation, shoe design, and more! Would you like to try taking a lesson on “artistic sense”?
