Who I Am
Hi! My name is Laura, and I’m a passionate and creative English teacher with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and Performing Arts. I’m TESOL/TEFL certified by World TESOL Academy, and I’ve had the joy of teaching English for over two years to students of all ages and backgrounds. I’m here to make your English journey meaningful, fun, and 100% about you.

My Experience & What I Love
My teaching path has taken me from sunny California, where I worked as a Camp Counsellor at Ojai Valley School, to exciting online classrooms across Colombia and the world. I’ve taught teens, and adults, each with unique goals and stories. I currently teach at a university in Bogotá, leading hybrid lessons that mix innovation, technology, and real-world communication.

Besides teaching, I love art, movies, storytelling, and bringing real-life topics into the classroom. Whether it's a song, a scene from a film, or a cultural event, I use these to spark meaningful conversations that help you think and express yourself in English confidently.

My Teaching Style
No two students are not the same so my classes aren’t either. I design every lesson based on your personal needs, goals, and learning style. Whether you struggle with speaking, grammar, or confidence, I’m here to help you overcome those blocks with empathy, structure, and motivation. My approach is student-centered, interactive, and always focused on helping you use English in real-life situations.
