Hello! I’m Jay from the Philippines.
I’ve been teaching English as a Second Language since 2020 and have guided students from various countries including Vietnam, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, and China. I teach learners of all ages—from kids to adults—and I always use a fun, flexible, and interactive approach to make every class engaging and full of learning.
Although I’m currently an undergraduate of BSBA major in Human Resource, I have held several managerial roles in U.S.-based companies. I’ve worked as an Inventory Manager, Account Associate, Executive Assistant, General Virtual Assistant, Social Media Manager, Subject Matter Expert, and Team Leader. While these may not seem directly related to teaching, they’ve helped me develop strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills that I now bring into my ESL classes. I can also offer helpful insights not just in learning English, but in business and life as well.
In our class, I will help you improve your Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Grammar skills. I understand how challenging learning English can be—because I’ve been there too. But with proper guidance and the right mindset, it becomes easier and more enjoyable.
Don’t feel pressured! My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and effective learning space where you can grow confidently.
