Hello, こんにちは, Bonjour!
My name is Lynn. I am from South Africa and live here in Pretoria. Running is my favourite pastime and I ran my first marathon in September 2023. I can read and write Hiragana and Katakana. Since returning from Japan, I've been studying Japanese continually and can explain certain words and sentences in Japanese.
I hold a BA Degree in Global Studies, as well as a TEFL Certificate.
My lessons mainly focus on English conversation, but will include reading and writing as well, depending on the lesson.
I prepare lessons relevant to your needs and daily life. Please feel free to talk to me, even if you are shy. I am here to help you and we will have fun while learning English. My aim is to keep you motivated and even after the lesson finishes, I will give you some tips to continue learning at home.

24 September 2023 - Berlin marathon, done!
At 32 km I definitely questioned my life choices, sanity, and existence in this world.
November 2023
I visted Japan for 3 weeks. My first week was spent in Tokyo.
I moved to Osaka for the second week. While based there, I visited Minoh City, where I witnessed the Monks' closing ceremony at Ryuanji Temple. Other day trips from Osaka were visits to Kyoto and Kobe.
During my third and final week, I visited Kitakyushu, Fukuoka, Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I would like to return for another visit!
