MILMAR 講師的自我介紹

Hi there! I am teacher Milmar and I am from Davao City, Philippines!

I am a licensed English teacher since 2009 with Master’s degree in English Language Teaching, plus TEFL certification. I have 16 years of experience in teaching English, literature and journalism. 

For 16 years, I am helping my students become confident and effective English communicators. I specialize in Academic and Business English, Conversational English, Literature, and Journalism. I’ve worked with learners of all ages and backgrounds—whether they’re preparing for a presentation, enjoying a book discussion, or just looking to improve their everyday English.


My teaching style is friendly, flexible, and learner-centered. I love creating lessons that feel like real conversations, not just grammar drills!

I prioritize real-world communication in my classes. Lessons are designed to help students use English in practical situations—whether in casual conversations, professional settings, or academic discussions. I encourage interaction, authentic dialogue, and meaningful exchanges to build fluency and confidence.

A – Adaptive Teaching

Every learner is unique, so I adapt my teaching style and materials based on students’ needs, levels, and interests. Whether it's Business English, Literature, or free conversation, I make sure each lesson is relevant, engaging, and student-centered.

R – Reflective Learning

I promote critical thinking and self-awareness by guiding learners to reflect on their progress, language use, and personal learning goals. I incorporate activities like journals, feedback sessions, and peer evaluations to help them grow not only as language users but as independent thinkers.

E – Empowered Learning

My ultimate goal is to empower students by creating a supportive, positive, and motivating environment.
