Hello! My name is Kaydee, and I'm so excited to help you on your English learning journey!

I first came to Japan as a university student to study abroad and instantly fell in love with the country. I spent about 8 years living in Tokyo, studying Political Science and Asian Studies at Temple University Japan Campus and later attending a Japanese language school. Japan truly feels like my second home, and I have a deep passion for both traditional and modern Japanese culture, especially pop culture, media, and everyday life.

During my time in Japan, I taught English to both children and adults, working in classrooms and also offering private one-on-one lessons. I've worked with young learners as well as business professionals, and I really enjoy helping students of all backgrounds find their voice in English. As someone who has studied Japanese for many years, I completely understand the joys and challenges of learning a new language - and I'm here to support you every step of the way!

When it comes to teaching, I believe there's no such thing as a one-size-fits-all lesson. I work closely with each student to create a lesson that suits your learning style, goals, and interests. Whether you want to practice casual daily conversation, improve your business English, or follow a more stuctured lesson plan, I will tailor our sessions to what works best for you. I teach all levels, from beginner to advanced, and while I can provide some Japanese support for beginners, I aim to keep our lessons immersive and primarily in English to help you improve naturally and confidently.

My goal is to help you speak English with confidence - whether it's for a new job, travel, study, or simply connecting with people around the world. Let's build your English skills together in a fun, relaxed, and personalized environment. I look forward to meeting you!



こんにちは！ケイディと申します。
皆さんの英語学習のお手伝いができることを、とても楽しみにしています！

私はもともと大学の留学プログラムで日本に来て、すぐに日本のことが大好きになりました。
東京には約8年間住み、テンプル大学ジャパンキャンパスで政治学とアジア研究を専攻した後、日本語学校にも通いました。
日本は私にとって第二の故郷のような存在で、伝統文化はもちろん、ポップカルチャーやメディア、日常生活など、現代の日本文化にも強い関心を持っています。

日本に住んでいる間に、子どもから大人まで幅広い年齢層の方に英語を教えてきました。教室でのグループレッスンや、1対1のプライベートレッスンの経験があります。
小さなお子様はもちろん、ビジネスパーソンの方ともレッスンをしてきました。さまざまな背景を持つ生徒さんが、自分の「英語の声」を見つけていくお手伝いができることが、私のやりがいです。
私自身も長年日本語を学んできたので、新しい言語を学ぶ楽しさや大変さをよく理解しています。だからこそ、生徒さん一人ひとりのペースに寄り添ったサポートを心がけています。

レッスンは「一人ひとりに合ったスタイル」が大切だと思っています。
日常英会話を気軽に練習したい方、ビジネス英語を磨きたい方、しっかりとしたカリキュラムで学びたい方など、それぞれの目標や興味に合わせてレッスン内容を調整します。
初心者の方には必要に応じて日本語でのサポートも可能ですが、基本的には英語をメインに使った「英語で考える」レッスンを目指しています。初心者から上級者まで、どのレベルの方でも大歓迎です！

英語を自信を持って話せるようになることが、私の一番の目標です。
仕事や旅行、勉強、そして世界中の人たちとのコミュニケーションなど、どんな目的でもOKです。一緒に楽しく、リラックスした雰囲気の中で英語力を伸ばしていきましょう！
