About the Instructor
In my 20s, I moved to Canada on my own and experienced firsthand the importance and joy of communicating in English amidst a diverse culture. After returning to Japan and starting work as an English conversation teacher when my own child became an elementary school student, I had a significant realization: the "English" and "soroban" (Japanese abacus) that my late mother had me learn have enriched my life today immeasurably.
The skills you acquire in early childhood become a source of great confidence and strength in your adult life. With gratitude for my mother in my heart, I decided it was my turn to illuminate the future for children. It was with this strong conviction that I founded "E&A English Soroban." As a mother of two, I stand with all parents and am fully dedicated to nurturing the infinite potential of each and every child.
Our Vision
What if the language used to learn soroban wasn't Japanese, but English? Along with calculation and concentration skills, English communication abilities are acquired naturally.
We aim to create a society where it is the norm for Japanese children to learn soroban in English alongside children from all over the world.
