Hello! My name is Zenia and I am from Greece.
I am a published writer, content creator and language enthusiast who loves sharing Greek culture through conversation, food, literature and everyday life.
For many years, I have enjoyed communicating with people from different countries and cultures. I believe that learning a language naturally is much more than grammar and vocabulary—it is a way to connect with people, stories and traditions.
I hold a BA in Communication from the American College of Greece, and have over ten years of experience as a private English tutor. I also hold a Cambridge Proficiency certificate in English, which has given me a deeper understanding of language learning from both the teacher's and the student's perspective.
My lessons focus on communication, confidence and natural Greek. I adapt each lesson to each student's interests, goals and learning style, creating a relaxed and supportive environment.
Depending on your level and interests, we may discuss Greek traditions, travel, books, food, daily life, current topics and modern culture. We may also use articles, short stories and authentic Greek texts to strengthen reading comprehension and expand vocabulary in an enjoyable way.
I especially enjoy helping students feel comfortable speaking Greek without fear of making mistakes. My goal is to make every lesson engaging, practical and meaningful.
Beyond teaching, I love writing, travelling, exploring vegan Greek cuisine and learning through different cultures. I also practice Aikido (Daitō-ryū) and enjoy traditional Greek dances, both of which have taught me patience, discipline and the joy of lifelong learning.
I look forward to meeting students from around the world and sharing the beauty of the Greek language and culture together.
