Hello everyone, and welcome to Cafetalk!
Thank you so much for visiting my profile.

I’m Tutor Jhe, from the Philippines, and I’m currently living and working as an English teacher at a public elementary school in Shibuya, Tokyo.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Teacher Education, majoring in English, and I’ve been teaching English since 2015. With over 9 years of experience, I’ve taught students of all ages—from young children to adults—in both classroom settings and online.

My teaching journey in Japan includes:

  • Teaching Survival English to government officials in Japan

  • Almost 3 years of early childhood education (Nursery & Kindergarten) in Gunma

  • And now, working as an ALT in Tokyo, where I teach elementary-level English daily

If you’re a parent looking for support for your child’s English learning, I can even help prepare your kids for elementary school English classes in Japan—perfect for early starters!

I’m deeply passionate about Japanese language and culture, and I admire Japan for its traditions, peaceful lifestyle, and safe environment.
