I'm Monica, an Italian linguist and communication specialist. Born in Lombardy, living in the heart of Puglia. I hold two Master's degrees, one in Foreign Languages and Literature, one in Digital Media and Journalism, and I've spent years working at the intersection of language, culture, and contemporary media. I don't just teach grammar. I teach you how Italian minds work.

 

I've worked with students from all over the world, from complete beginners to near-native speakers preparing for CILS and CELI certification exams. My lessons are structured around your level:

A1-A2 Build your first real sentences with logic, not memorization

B1-B2  Speak naturally on current events, culture, and everyday life

C1-C2  Master professional and academic Italian through media analysis, journalism, and advanced communication strategies

 

Most people study Italian for years and still freeze the moment a real conversation starts. That's because they learned rules, not language. My method uses authentic materials, newspapers, podcasts, viral Italian content, to show you how Italians actually communicate today. You won't just pass an exam. You'll think, argue, and express yourself in Italian with confidence and elegance. If you want more than small talk, you're in the right place.


Learning Levels: From Foundation to Mastery

Foundation (A1-A2) – Build Your Voice

If you are starting from scratch, we won’t just memorize words. I will provide you with the logical tools to build your first sentences with confidence, focusing on essential vocabulary and authentic everyday conversations.


Development (B1-B2) – Express Yourself Fluently

At this level, we work on making your speech natural. You will learn to structure complex texts and handle discussions on current events, politics, and society, eliminating grammatical uncertainties.


Mastery & Media (C1-C2) – Italian for Professionals

Leveraging my specialization in Journalism and Media, we will refine your linguistic register for academic or professional purposes. We will focus on media analysis, creative writing, public speaking, and advanced cultural nuances.
