Hi! I'm Selda, a Filipina based in the charming city of Kanazawa, Japan. With over 10 years of teaching experience and a deep passion for culture and communication, I’m here to help you learn English, Tagalog, or explore Japanese culture in a fun and personalized way!

English & Tagalog Conversation

Do you want to:

  • practice natural English or Tagalog with a friendly teacher?

I offer relaxed, supportive conversation lessons, perfect for learners of all levels. You can talk to me about travel, food, lifestyle, relationships, or any topic you enjoy. I’ll gently correct your mistakes and help you sound more natural.

Japanese Culture, Art, and History

As a professional local guide in Kanazawa, I’ve shared Japan’s hidden stories and traditions with travelers from all over the world. Now, I’d love to share them with you!
Join me to learn about:

  • samurai culture, geisha traditions, and daily life in Japan

  • famous local crafts like gold leaf and Kaga Yuzen

  • Japanese values, festivals, and historical figures

These lessons are a great fit for students who love Japan and want to deepen their cultural knowledge in a friendly, story-based way.

Japanese Cooking (Simple Home-Style)

Want to try Japanese home cooking that’s delicious, healthy, and easy to make?
Let’s cook together! I’ll guide you step-by-step and explain:
