Hi there! I’m tutor Yūmī (玉米)~

I work in the art, tour guide, and education field. I hold N1 in the JLPT N1, and I’ve also taught myself and received the Taiwan Chinese Teaching Certification and the Japanese Tour Guide License!
 
I’ve been teaching Chinese to Japanese speakers for around seven years now.
Most of my students are working in Taiwan, and I really enjoy our lessons together.
I also spent five years as a Japanese teaching assistant!
 
In my lessons, I don’t just stick to textbooks, but rather, I include practical phrases for daily life, internet slang, and information about Taiwanese events.
 
I make sure to teach in a way that makes you think, “I can use this right away!”
 
I prioritize creating a welcoming atmosphere where you will feel comfortable talking a lot.
I’m here to help you express exactly what’s on your mind in natural-sounding Chinese!
 
You’ll gain the confidence to speak when traveling to Taiwan or chatting with people from there.
