SELF INTRODUCTION
I live in Tokyo, Japan.
I come from Normandie and used to live in Paris, where I was a bookseller. I like books, History (especially French History), music (from classical to electro and particularly City Pop), gastronomy, hiking, swimming, wine, Japanese sake, genealogy, absinthe, bees, cinema, architectural heritage, travel, cigars, traditional cultures (especially from France and Japan), philosophy, photography, literature, running, classical fine arts, and meeting my friends!
I am curious about almost everything and can talk about different topics, especially daily news, History, Arts, or politics ;-)
TEACHING BACKGROUND
I have been teaching on Cafetalk for more than 3 years now.
I have experience teaching high school, middle school, and elementary school students. My daily Japanese conversation (N3+) helps me connect with Japanese learners.
TEACHING STYLE
First, I recommend taking an introduction lesson. In this lesson, I would like you to tell me what you want to study so we can see if I meet your expectations.
My teaching will feel like a casual chat. I will correct your French and give you explanations or examples to fix your current mistakes.
We can choose a topic (news, your weekend, holidays, etc.) or a document (newspaper, video, movie, etc.) and talk about it together.
I can also correct your writings if needed.
I can teach in French or English (and use a few Japanese words if needed)..
I can also be a partner for English conversation. I enjoy speaking English (it is one of the most useful things I learned).
I am progressing in my teaching and starting to teach the technical side of French (grammar, conjugation, etc.).
