Hello, I'm teacher Alex. Based in Japan, I’m an experienced and passionate ESL tutor. I'm from England, though I lived in Europe for 12 years. This is where I developed my passion for helping English learners. In 2018, I decided to take a break from my web design/programming career to teach English in Thailand. I found the experience so fulfilling that I decided to devote myself to this career. You could say, I found my IKIGAI <3.

I have developed many fluency tips and tricks in the classroom that I want to share with you here on CafeTalk. I specialize in helping learners of all levels improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through personalized student-focused lessons.
