Hello! My name is Shayla, I am 30 years old and I am from Canada. I have been teaching English for 4 years. I have taught all ages from 4 years old up to 70 years old. I have many options of lessons for students of all English skill from Beginner to Advanced.
I am very experienced in travel and working abroad. I have traveled to over 15 countries and I have been living in Asia for 6 years. I love to travel and learn about other cultures. I love to see beautiful architecture, nature and people. Learning about other cultures has been a passion of mine since I was a young girl. I love to learn and read so I can share knowledge and be a better teacher for my students.
I have a great love and compassion for animal and sea life. When I am not working I volunteer at the animal shelter in my community. We help give medicine to the sick dogs and cats. As well as helping the disabled dogs exercise. We also help the sea life on the island by cleaning the beaches. We work with a local volunteer group called 'Trash Heroes'. All together we clean on average over 30 kilos of trash off the beaches every week.
