Hello Customers,

Welcome to my lessons! Do you needs some help with speaking, grammar, exams, business topics, or writing services ? Why not choose a TEFL 5 certified tutor like myself? Many of my IELTS, TOEIC, TOEFL, SAT, GMAT, GRE, Cambridge and other test prep students have achieved top scores. Several Business English students got the job they wanted! I have spent thousands of hours teaching over my last four years of tutoring online, with great feedback from clients. I am an experienced, friendly, tutor, proofreader and copyeditor. General English students who wish to make conversation are also warmly welcomed!

Students benefit from my numerous specialist qualifications to coach Business English, Grammar, Speaking, IELTS, TOEFL, Critical Thinking, and other tests. People value my speaking and vocabulary services, my writing coaching skills, and my professionalism. My Business English customers value my finance background. I am a member of the ITAFEL tutor organisation, a member of the Chartered Institute of Proofreading and Editing, and a former chartered accountant. I look forward to hearing about your learning goals.

Customers who would like to improve their speaking  and vocabulary skills should book a lesson. Why not talk to a native speaker? I welcome everyone over 18, from beginner/ intermediate students to advanced/ proficient students. I have a professional, flexible, and approachable teaching style.

I coach adults over 18 for English language, Verbal Reasoning and Critical Thinking test preparation. For example, I have helped many IELTS, TOEFL,TOEIC, GMAT, GRE, Cambridge and SAT students get top scores! I hold specialist qualifications to teach test preparation, including the Critical Reasoning required in GMAT.  As a graduate of a world top 100 university myself, I understand the importance of getting the test score that you need. I hold US English certifications in addition to the my UK degree-level  180 hour TEFL 5 qualification.

My knowledge of Advanced Grammar, and proofreading skills come in handy for the standardised tests, and also for customers looking for proofreading and editing services.

Additionally, I coach Business English, Economics and Accounting. Prior to being a tutor I qualified as an accountant (I.C.A.E.W professional exams, ACA 1996).  I have now retired from the I.C.A.E.W. but still teach and mark for accountancy and business tests. My real - life experience makes me a great tutor!

I have lived and worked abroad myself, so I have empathy for students learning English for social or travel reasons.
