Hi, I’m Natalie!

I am an educator, and I specialize in the Montessori approach to teaching. I enjoy helping children learn in a natural and respectful way.

I am also a parent of two energetic girls, which keeps my life busy and exciting. We enjoy spending time together, especially playing board games.

I love being active and spending time outdoors. I enjoy scuba diving, trekking, mushroom hunting and camping because they help me feel connected to nature. I also practice weight lifting and yoga, and I like learning about nutrition and healthy living.

In my free time, I enjoy creative activities like knitting, crochet, and calligraphy. I also enjoy strategic board games because they challenge my thinking.

My background is in biology, and I am a certified language teacher. I am always interested in learning more, especially about education, homeschooling, and neurodiversity.

 

I have lived in several countries, which has helped me appreciate different cultures and cuisines. I value both my work and my free time, and I am always curious, active, and eager to learn and create.



I've spent time:

  • Three years in the capital of Serbia, conducting my PhD research on the evolution and diversification of insects.
  • One summer on the Croatian coast, exploring remote islands and their hidden treasures.
  • Six months on the islands of Spain, volunteering in a marine center, snorkeling, and marveling at dolphins.
  • Four years soaking up the vibrant day and nightlife of Berlin.
  • One year immersing myself in the rich cultural tapestry of Istanbul, straddling two continents.
  • One year savoring the flavors of Tuscany, indulging in schiaciata and sipping chianti.
  • One year in mainland Spain, mastering the language and embracing local customs.
  • And now I am back in Berlin, enjoying its day- and nightlife

Background:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy; passionate about fitness since childhood and a former state champion at 13; experience as a fitness instructor in a gym.
  • Degree in teaching Science.
  • Master's degree in Biology.
  • Certified Teacher of English.
  • Experience teaching Science, Maths, and Biology in international schools.
  • Experience as an English, German and Serbo-Croatian language teacher.
