Hello! My name is Thandeka, and I’m a TEFL-certified English tutor from South Africa.

I’m a friendly, patient and relaxed teacher who loves helping people feel more confident using English in real-life situations.

I have one year of experience teaching English online, and I really enjoy meeting students from different countries and learning about their cultures, interests and experiences. For me, teaching English is not just about grammar and vocabulary; it’s about helping you feel comfortable expressing yourself.

My lessons are:

  • Focused on natural, practical spoken English.

  • Suitable for beginners, intermediate and advanced learners.

  • Designed around your personal goals and interests.

  • Relaxed, supportive and encouraging – no pressure and no fear of making mistakes.

  • Great for conversation, travel, business English and everyday communication.

I can help you improve your speaking, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar and listening skills. We can talk about everyday life, travel, work, current topics, hobbies or anything that interests you.

If you’re shy about speaking English or you’re a beginner, don’t worry! We can take things step by step and build your confidence together.

I love creating a comfortable space where students can speak, make mistakes, learn and have fun.
