I’ll be taking a short holiday from September 10–13 because a Japanese friend is visiting Boston, and I have once again been appointed Official Boston Tour Guide—a position for which I have absolutely no qualifications.
My duties will include taking my friend to Fenway Park to see our beloved Red Sox, and introducing them to Boston’s finest cuisine: lobster, clam chowder, baked beans, and several other foods designed to ensure that nobody feels hungry again until October.
This is my second tour-guide assignment this summer, so I now consider myself an experienced professional. I may soon begin charging admission.
Lessons will resume after September 13, assuming I survive the lobster and the Red Sox.
See you soon!
