Welcome!

In class, we discuss how you like your coffee! You might want to read my tutor column, too. Adult customers of all levels are welcome!

Beginners and pre -intermediate customers can enjoy role play and practise key vocabulary about coffee, coffee shops and varieties of coffee. Perhaps we can enjoy a coffee together in class whilst we have the lesson. This will be our virtual coffee shop!

High intermediate and advanced customers will discuss coffee culture in the UK and in their own countries. You may wish to to discuss the history of coffee or the ethics of coffee -making and the 'fair trade' movement.  During our conversation you will pick up B2/C1 vocabulary , phrasal verbs and collocations along the way. We can do a fun quiz, too!

This class is also suitable for advanced/ proficient students. We can discuss the coffee making process and practise some grammar, such as the 'passive voice'. Exam students will find this lesson useful because we can practise describing a process.

So just like there is a variety of coffee for everyone, there is a variety of lesson about coffee which is suitable for all customers!
