레슨 상세 내용
This Simple Debate lesson pack is designed for English learners who are comfortable with daily conversation, and wish to build their critical thinking, practical debate skills and confidence alongside their English skills. I’ll adjust my speaking style to ensure you feel comfortable and supported throughout each lesson.
Together we'll explore thought-provoking topics, such as "Is social media good or bad?" through structured debates. Each lesson will cover a different topic, and you can choose the theme for each lesson (General, Current Events & Global Issues, Ethical & Social or Fun & Lighthearted). You will also have the opportunity to come up with your own topic for one of the lessons (if you choose to).
Throughout the 4 lessons, you'll steadily develop your ability to confidently present, defend, and counter arguments in English. You will also learn new vocabulary and grammar in each lesson.
As you speak, I will offer gentle guidance and help you to phrase your sentences in a natural and clear way. After each lesson, I will provide you with comprehensive feedback and homework so that you can review your work, as well as homework checks.
