Mika-sensei's 25-minute beginner Japanese lesson is just the right length to avoid feeling overwhelmed but also to make solid progress. I've been taking this lesson weekly for the past few months and have noticed a huge improvement in my Japanese speaking skill and confidence. The lesson pack offers excellent value for those who are serious learners. I'm always impressed by Mika-sensei's warmth and her gentle, friendly manner, which makes me feel comfortable and at ease. She patiently waits for me to answer whenever I am stuck, which I appreciate so much! On top of all this, she uses excellent materials that allow me to practice new grammar points thoroughly, and to work at a steady pace. She also has a great ear, always bringing my attention to mistakes not only in my grammar but also my pronunciation - which is hugely important for an English learner of Japanese like me. 3年ほど、ほぼ毎週継続して受講しています。現在は中級レベルの教科書まで進みました。新しい課で学ぶ表現だけでなく、過去に習った似た表現との使い分けやニュアンスの違いについても、日本語でとても丁寧に説明してくださるため、理解しやすいです。教科書に沿った学習もしっかり指導してくださいますが、それ以外の会話も楽しく、毎週のレッスンは「勉強」というよりも「楽しみ」な時間になっています。楽しみながらも、しっかり学べるレッスンを求めている方におすすめの講師です！！
