I have been taking lessons with Koyuki Sensei since October 2023, and throughout that time I have been consistently impressed with the quality of her teaching. When I started, I had almost no knowledge of Japanese. Since then, we have worked through the Genki 1 and Genki 2 textbooks together, and we are now about to begin Quartet. What I appreciate most about Koyuki Sensei's teaching style is the balance she strikes between patience, encouragement, and challenge. Her lessons are always enjoyable and engaging, but she also knows how to push me in the right way so that I continue to improve and stay motivated. She is highly adaptable and is always able to tailor her approach to my individual needs as a learner. I genuinely look forward to every lesson and feel motivated to study between sessions, often thinking ahead to what we will cover next. 子どもの現在の英語力や得意なこと、これから伸ばしていくとよさそうな課題について、見立てがとても的確な先生だと感じました。 ただ楽しく進めるだけではなく、reading、comprehension、speaking、writing をバランスよく確認しながら、子どもの反応を丁寧に見てくださいます。子どものアイデアや創造性を大切にしつつ、きちんとした文で答えること、過去形、順序を表す言葉など、今必要な課題にも自然につなげてくださいました。 フィードバックもとても具体的で、親としても子どもの英語力の現在地が分かりやすかったです。子ども本人もレッスンをとても楽しんでおり、安心してお願いできる先生だと思います。

わからなかったフレーズや単語も、どんどんチャットに書き込んでくださって、あとから復習がちゃんとできるようにフィードバックもしっかりくださいます。会話も上手で楽しいし、時間がすぐ過ぎてしまいます。いつもまた受けたいと思わせてくださる先生です。
