This unique conversation-based lesson blends language learning with a deep dive into art, design, and culture. Whether you're a practising artist, an art student, or simply passionate about creativity, this is the perfect space to express yourself... in English.

Before the lesson, I’ll share an article or short text related to modern or contemporary art. In class, we’ll explore the themes, context, and artistic techniques together through discussion.

Prefer to choose your own material? Absolutely: you’re welcome to send me articles, artist interviews, or exhibition reviews that interest you, and we’ll build the lesson around your input.

How to talk confidently about artists, design, and creative practices
Vocabulary and expressions for analysing art and discussing ideas
Critical thinking skills through discussion of cultural and social themes
Inspiration from artists who respond to contemporary issues and innovation
How to reflect on artistic processes, experimentation, and personal responses

After each lesson, you’ll receive a personalised set of notes and vocabulary to help you continue exploring both language and art at home.
