A structured lesson for students who want focused English practice.
課程介紹
Are you starting your English journey? Want to practice with a trained teacher like how you learned English in school? I've got experience teaching in Japan, South Korea, and the US! This is the lesson for you!
In the first 'trial' lesson, we will:
- warm up
- test your English with Q & As
- talk about your English goals
In following lessons, we will:
- warm up
- review what we've learned before
- practice new vocabulary or grammar
- do a structured practice of new materials
- assign "homework" so you're motivated to practice on your own
- cool down
"Homework" is based on the lesson material. It's to help you improve your skills outside of class. Here are some example lessons & some homework I may request:
- Practicing new weather vocabulary --> record the weather until the next lesson
- Using "ing" to talk about activities --> write "A Day In My Life" that explains your daily routine & habits
- listening focused on native English speed --> watch a video about something you enjoy & take notes to discuss next lesson
- understanding English music --> listen to a song line-by-line & try to write the lyrics without checking them online
Part of this lesson is checking your homework, like a teacher would! Attach your homework to your request at least 24 hours before the lesson begins, and I will grade it & return it to you before the lesson. This way, you have more feedback on different parts of English language practice.
If you have a textbook or lesson material you would like to use, please tell me! If not, I will create or find materials for lessons.
**Please note that I don't teach children younger than 15.**
