* Warm-Up/ Introduction ( 5 - 10mins ) Engage Interest : We will talk about your favorite song, why you chose it and the artiste.
* Pre-Listening / Vocabulary Prep ( 5 - 10mins ) Build Word Awareness : Introducing key words or slang words from the song
* Listening / Comprehension ( 10 - 15mins ) Listening Skills
* Discussion / Analysis ( 10mins ) Speaking and Meaning : Discuss what the song is about
* Wrap-Up / Creative Output ( 5 - 10mins ) Expression : Have students sing along or have students describe the song in their own words.
Possible Lesson Types :
1. Vocabulary Builder : Focus on 8-10 new words or idioms from the song
2. Pronunciation Practice : Work on rhythm, stress, and connected speech by singing or repeating lines.
