Read your choice of text with me and review your understanding with discussion.
레슨 상세 내용
This can be a one-off lesson if you want to read and understand an article or section of a book by reading and discussing it with a native English speaker. Students are also encouraged to regularly book this lesson if they are avid readers and wish to review their understanding of a particular book or series. Students can choose their own and supply the section to the teacher in advance of the lesson or the students can choose from a list provided by the teacher.
This lesson is suitable for beginners and intermediate level students. The lesson consists of the student reading the text (with support from the tutor if required). This is followed by a discussion about the text, understanding the grammar and context. Answering questions about the text to confirm understanding of the content and adding new words to your vocabulary.
On average the text length we would cover in a 30 minute lesson will be 3000 words including discussion time. This will depend on reading speed and fluency. Students are encouraged to book a "Meet the Tutor" lesson first to discuss goals and for the tutor to ascertain the reading level of the student.
