Using Digital Audio Workstations to Compose Music
Kursinhalt
An introduction to modern methods in using computer software to compose and produce music. Topics that I cover include:
- How to use virtual instruments and virtual studio technologies (VST)
- Writing MIDI
- Genre composition
- Mixing & Mastering
- Sampling
- Sound Design
This lesson will be very hands-on. I will be demonstrating and teaching by directly using and showing the software through screen sharing.
A variety of software can be used, but I will be teaching using FL Studio made by Image-Line. Their software comes with a free demo where most tools are available. For those unsure, I can help with finding and installing the software.
