Ready to take the IELTS tes?
This 90-minute IELTS Academic Reading lesson pack focuses on building strategic reading skills rather than slow, line-by-line comprehension. Students work with exam-level Academic Reading texts and practice all major IELTS question types, including multiple choice, matching headings, true/false/not given, sentence completion, and summary or table completion.
The lesson trains candidates to skim for overall meaning, scan for specific information, recognize paraphrase, and avoid common traps built into the questions. Time management is treated as a core skill, with guidance on pacing, prioritizing questions, and maintaining accuracy under exam conditions.
Students are expected to justify their answers using evidence from the text and analyze mistakes carefully to understand why incorrect options are wrong. The session is suitable for candidates targeting Band 6.0 and above, especially those who understand texts but struggle to convert that understanding into high scores.
