课程介绍
This lesson covers three aspects:
Listening through picture knowledge
Listening by using grammar, vocabulary, general meaning of words
Integration of the above to form interactive processing which allows understanding based on what you already know
First step is an assessment / counseling
Second step : Comprehension
- give questions before the time. Student needs to know what they are listening for ----Listening with a purpose
- Questions deals with :-
a. Specific information
b. general message
c. post listening skills, for example, the student reads the piece which will incorporate other language skills: reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary etc
The lesson concludes with exercises
Homework in the form of worksheets or whatever is required based on understanding and progress of student
