Course Overview

Join the author of The Six Points of Certainty for a six-part exploration of language, philosophy, and imagination.

2 X 3 Lesson pack = 2 x 7,500p = 15,000.

You are welcome to book the first half of the course and the second half at a later date.

Each session focuses on one section of the book, blending guided reading, vocabulary building, and discussion.

Through poetic narrative and accessible English, we explore themes of consciousness, memory, time, and identity — topics that connect literature with modern questions in science and philosophy.

  1. Prologue – Fragment in Hand (trial lesson, included in full course)

  2. The First Archivist – Language, memory, and continuity

  3. Fragments and Places – Time, decay, and meaning

  4. Philosophical Echoes – The universe observing itself

  5. The Human Fossil – Memory, loss, and potential

  6. Ship and Launch – The evolution of awareness

Each lesson includes:

  • A reading from the Study or Graded Edition

  • Vocabulary and expression work

  • Guided discussion and reflection tasks

Students receive a digital copy of the full book upon completing the course.

Cancellation of pack lessons

• 'Unstarted' lesson packs(1) can be cancelled any time. Used Points will be completely refunded. If a 'started' lesson pack(2) is cancelled, you will be refunded 50% of the price of the remaining lessons provided that the lessons are unrequested, unconfirmed or not within 24 hours of their scheduled start times.
(1) A lesson pack for which none of the requests have been confirmed by the tutor.
(2) A lesson pack with at least one confirmed request. (By confirming the date and time for the first lesson in the pack the tutor confirms the pack as a whole and coupons are automatically issued)

Cancelling individual requests in a pack

• If you wish to cancel a single lesson that belongs to a pack but not the whole pack, you can do so via the request page. In this case, the coupon used to book the lesson will either be refunded or collected, based on the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy. Please note that any 50% partial refunds in the tutors single-lesson cancellation policy do not apply to lesson packs and the tutor may choose to either refund or collect the coupon in those cases.

This lesson is “Immediately Confirmed”

If the requested date falls within 30 days, the request will be “confirmed” immediately without having to wait for the tutor to reply.

Requests will be confirmed immdiately expect the first one of a pack. If confirmed immediately, the policy “before request is confirmed” will not apply.
