Tools Needed: Images of countries/flags/landmarks, chatbox, screen sharing, optional map
1. 🛫 Warm-Up (3–4 min)
Show a map or globe.
Ask: “Do you like to travel?” “Have you visited another place?”
Show images of 4–6 famous landmarks (e.g., Eiffel Tower, Great Wall, Statue of Liberty).
Ask: “What do you see? Where is it?”
2. Vocabulary (5–6 min)
Teach 4–5 Countries and Landmarks:
France – Eiffel Tower
USA – Statue of Liberty
Egypt – Pyramids
China – Great Wall
South Africa – Table Mountain
Key Phrases:
"This is the ___."
"It is in ___."
Activity: Show a landmark and ask:
“What is this?”
“Where is it?”
3. 🎒 Speaking Practice (5–6 min)
Sentence Frames:
“I want to visit ___.”
“I like ___ because ___.”
“In ___, you can see ___.”
Ask students:
“Where do you want to go?”
“What do you want to see there?”
Use visuals to support.
4. ✈ Travel Quiz Game (4 min)
Ask simple questions:
“Where is the Eiffel Tower?”
“Which country has pyramids?”
“Where can you see lions?” (Bonus: Show a safari image)
5. 🧳 Wrap-Up & Homework (2–3 min)
Wrap-Up Questions:
“What country do you want to visit most?”
“What do you want to see?”
Homework: Draw a flag or landmark of a country. Write one sentence:
“I want to go to ___ to see ___.”
