In this class you can practice speaking Finnish about any topic of your choice.

In this class you can have short 30 minutes Finnish conversation practice. You can choose any topic that you want to talk about in Finnish or I can give you some conversations topics for you to choose from.
I will also adjust the conversation to your speaking level with my word choise, length of sentences and speaking tempo.
Some example topics of conversation:
- family
- pets
- hobbies / work
- living
- holiday plans
- good/bad memories
- daily dialogues, such as phone call reservations, cancellations etc.
- movies, books
- latest news
- Finland's / your country's history
- cultural differences
- religious practices and customs
- environmental issues
- global issues
- technology
- movies, books
- debate
- job interview
If you don't want to start the conversation from nothing, I will provide some reading material related to the topic before our meeting. Alternatively, you can share a reading of your interest and we can use that as prompt for our discussion.
During our conversation, I will write down useful phrases and vocabulary, which you can review after the class. After the class, I can provide a little homework related to the class topic, if you wish so.
