TARGET AGE: 5-7 YEARS OLD, GREAT FOR BEGINNERS
SKILLS COVERED:
*Vocabulary building- colours and common toys
*Listening and speaking- responding to instructions and questions
*Matching and recognition- associating colours with toys.
METHODOLOGIES: Interactive learning using games, flashcards.
Visual learning by showing real toys and objects to reinforce colour recognition. Repetition and practice, reinforcing vocabulary through short activities and questions.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
* Identify and name basic colors (red, blue, yellow, green, etc.).
* Recognize and name common toys (ball, doll, car, teddy bear, blocks).
* Match toys to their corresponding colors (e.g., “red car,” “blue ball”).
