Exploring a New City with Confidence
In this lesson, you’ll learn how to talk about sightseeing plans, ask for recommendations, and describe your travel experiences. Using a short, student-friendly text about springtime in Amsterdam, you'll practise real phrases you can use when exploring a new place.
What you’ll do:
- Read a simplified story about visiting Amsterdam in spring
- Practise useful travel expressions such as 'Could you recommend a place to visit nearby?' and 'I’d like to book a ticket for this afternoon'.
- Compare the original article with the A1-A2 or the B1-B2 version to notice vocabulary and structure improvements
- Use the style comparison table to learn why certain sentences were harder to understand
