By the end of the lesson, students will be able to formulate and articulate their personal viewpoints on societal or national issues they believe should be banned within the country.
They will engage in thoughtful discussion, demonstrate active listening during peer exchanges, and develop a persuasive argument supported by logical reasoning, relevant examples, and evidence.
Through structured speaking and writing activities, students will strengthen their ability to express opinions clearly, use persuasive language effectively and consider multiple perspectives on complex or controversial topics.
Additionally, students will improve their critical thinking and communication skills by constructing well organized written arguments and participating in respectful, constructive dialogue.
