Descrizioni

The lesson focuses on building confidence in starting basic conversations. Students will practice short dialogues, role-play meeting someone for the first time, and learn polite responses such as “Nice to meet you.” By the end of the lesson, learners will be able to greet others appropriately in different everyday situations, make simple introductions, and understand basic greeting phrases when spoken to.

Explanation

English greetings are short and simple. Use Hello or Hi when you meet someone.
To introduce yourself, say: My name is Maria.
To ask someone’s name, say: What is your name?

Practice

  1. Fill in the blanks:

    • “Hi, my name is ______.”

    • “Hello, what is your ______?”

  2. Practice a conversation:

    • A: “Hello! My name is Ana.”

    • B: “Hi Ana! My name is Dario. Nice to meet you!”
