Words to use at hotels:
"I'd like to check in (or check out) please."
"I don't have a reservation. Do you have an available room?"
"Excuse me. I left my key in my room."
Words to use at restaurants:
"Can I have a menu, please?"
"Do you have an English menu?"
"What is this?"
"I'd like this meal, please."
"Where is the restroom?"
"I'd like a check, please."
When riding the train:
"Where can I buy a ticket?"
"I want to go to XX. How much does it cost?"
"I want to go to XX. Which train should I take?"
"What time does the train to XX arrive?"
And so on.
