The most famous short philosophical text

Description

In Plato's Allegory of the Cave, he envisions people sitting chained to the floor, facing a wall, where they watch shadows all day, which are created by various objects carried past their backs. The scene resembles a modern cinema, which Plato wasn't familiar with, of course, but it still can tell us a lot about modern life and the path to living an educated, examined life even today.
This lesson aims at university students, majoring in philosophy or any other interested student who likes exploring philosophical topics.
