Ramadan in Egypt: A Month of Spirituality and Celebration
If you like learning about other cultures and beliefs, in this lesson you will learn about the month of Ramadan and how it is celebrated in Egypt, which is unlike any other country. (Available in February & March only.)

Ramadan is such a spiritual time for Muslims all over the world.
But Ramdan in Egypt is not only spiritual, it is like a national awakening, a month-long celebration of faith, community, and life.
The atmosphere shifts completely on the 1st day of Ramadan. Everything is more colourful, everyone is more cheerful, and peace and warmth can be felt everywhere.
This lesson will give you a glimpse of life in Egypt during the month of Ramadan, which is completely different from any other country at this time of year.
You will learn a little bit about the history of this celebration, and you will hear and see how Egyptians enjoy and celebrate this month.
> This lesson is part of a series. You may rebook it 4–5 times to experience Egyptian Ramadan more fully.
This lesson is better suited for an intermediate English student, to be able to understand everything better. However, if you are a beginner student and want to book this lesson, by all means, go ahead, I will still help you understand! :)
