Do you want to improve your English comprehension, vocabulary, and speaking skills while exploring real-world news topics?

This course uses authentic English news articles to help you understand current events and express your opinions with confidence.

Before each lesson, you’ll receive a news article to read. During class, we’ll:

✅ Either read the article in class or listen to it to improve both your reading and listening skills.
✅ Review key vocabulary, phrases, and expressions you found challenging.
✅ Discuss the article’s main ideas, opinions, and implications.
✅ Practice sharing your thoughts clearly and using new vocabulary in context.


Working with news articles helps you:

  • Strengthen your listening and reading comprehension.
  • Expand your vocabulary with real, topic-specific language.
  • Develop confidence expressing your opinions in English.


By the end of the course, you’ll not only stay informed about what’s happening in the world but also communicate your views fluently and naturally in English.
