The best way to learn English is to speak English with someone whose native language is English. Pronunciation is important because it prevents misunderstandings of messages received. Conversation is not about words, it's about expressing ideas.
Conversing in English is a way to use that grammar rules that were taught in the classroom. Relationships are developed, ideas are expressed, and new cultures are discovered. Improvement is acheived when a native English speaker improves the grammar of a student of the English language.
Communication involves context (sentences [complete thoughts] that explain the meaning of words). For example, if someone says the word, apple, the context will describe the color, size, shape, taste, smell, location, type, and texture of the apple.
