An interactive and fun way to learn English! Let's share ideas worth spreading by choosing a TED Talk for our lesson plan. TED Talks are a great way to improve listening and comprehension. By choosing this lesson, we get to explore opinions and have a fun discussion that you will enjoy!

The student can choose the TED Talk or it will be assigned before class. Before the class, you can watch the video to get an idea and to take down any notes and questions you may have of verbs/phrases, etc. During the lesson, we will begin with watching the video and discussing relevent vocabulary. We will proceed with looking at the transcipt and discussing the main ideas of the video; we will proceed with a lengthy discussion and then conclude.

Additional material will be prepared. After the video, we will have a lengthy discussion on the vocabulary, ideas, opinions. You will receive the material in full PDF after the lesson.

I'm often feeling happy when I take Sarah English class by myself. she taught me lots of English expressions every class and I also tried to push myself to learn about English from her. I know that learning English is not easy and there is not right way to become a like native English speaker without the effort. we just keep speaking with native English speaker like Sarah and also we need to make some international friends through the net on the phone. I learned about no pain no gain from her. I have been studying English for around one year. not long but I made a lot of American friends thanks to her class. I did make it, why you cannot. Actually, I have never been studying English until now. I just caught up with my English teacher by online and she taught me a lot of useful English expressions." her is name Sarah. What I really want to say is that you will be able to become a native English speaker if you start taking Sarah English class. I feel that my English ability is getting better every day because I try to take her English class. I made a lot of friends and speaking English with them every night. there is no special way to improve English ability. just keep speaking and keep practicing! that's all! 日本語を初めて勉強しようとした時、私は絶対に日本語を話せないだろうと勝手に決めつけたことがあります。１年間、独学で日本語を勉強し、鳥取という地域で交換留学をする機会を得ました。韓国人は大学の中で私一人、、とても寂しく、頼りたくても頼れない環境の中でまた自分との戦いを１年間し続けました。そのおかげで、自然なアクセントで日本語を話せるようになり、沢山の友達に付き合うことができました。言葉は親たちから受け継がれる遺伝的なものだと考えていらっしゃる人達もいますが、私はそう思わないです。解決策が見つからない難しい環境で、微かな可能性を見つけ、広げようと努力すること！バイリンガルになるための一歩はそこからではないかと思います。完璧な人になる必要はありません。これからは１位より２位が、、２位より３位が輝く時代に訪れるかもしれないでしょう。Sarah 先生はとても良い人です。私のことを信じて、スタートを恐れず彼女の授業を申し込んで英語で話し合ってみるのはいかがでしょうか！ 많은 이야기를 적어내려가지는 않겠습니다. 맞습니다. 저는 삼개국어를 할 수 있습니다. 카페토크를 시작했을 때,, 일본어밖에 할 수 없었습니다. 사라선생님이 영어를 가르쳐주시고나서부터 조금 씩 자연스럽게 말할 수 있게 되었고 지금은 영어를 말할 때 자신감을 가지고 말할 수 있게 되었습니다. 두려워 할 필요 없다고 생각합니다. 도전은 언제나 힘들고 극복은 언제나 고난이 따르지 않겠습니까!? 완벽한 사람이 되는 것보다 행복하게 인생을 살 수 있는 사람이 되는거,, 제일 중요하다고 생각합니다. 영어는 그 행복을 여러분에게 가져다 주지 않을 까요?! 같이 힘내요!
