How you spend your first hour awake can set the tone for your entire day. Whether you are an early bird or someone who usually wakes up feeling groggy, building a simple routine is a total game-changer.
For me, having a peaceful morning is completely non-negotiable. Instead of choosing to hit the snooze button multiple times, I try to wake up on the right side of the bed by doing a five-minute stretch as soon as I stand up.
Next, I make a fresh cup of coffee to kickstart my brain. I also try to incorporate a short walk outside to get some fresh air. It really helps me clear my head before I sit down to check emails and organise classes for the day.
How would you answer these questions? Try using today's vocabulary:
- Are you naturally an early bird or a night owl?
- What is one healthy habit you'd like to incorporate into your daily routine?
- Do you usually hit the snooze button, or do you wake up immediately?
- What activity helps you clear your head when you are feeling stressed?
If you want to practice expressing your opinions, sharing your goals, or discussing your daily habits, you can book a lesson with me on Cafetalk. We can work on making your English more natural!
