Delay hinders Progress

Rose Motete

As tutors and learners, we must understand one principle clearly: delay is the enemy of growth. The moment we postpone starting, practicing, or asking questions, we interrupt our own progress.

?? Delay builds anxiety. The longer we wait, the heavier the task feels.
?? Delay weakens discipline. Small postponements slowly become habits.
?? Delay blocks mastery. Consistency, not talent, creates excellence.
?? Delay steals opportunity. Improvement belongs to those who act early.

In learning English or any skill fluency does not come from thinking about practice. It comes from speaking, making mistakes, correcting, and repeating.

Do not wait for the “perfect time.” The perfect time is when you decide to begin.

Action creates clarity. Movement creates confidence.
