How should you get ready for your online class? There are many FUN ways to do this. First, try to expose yourself to your target language in any way you can. This can mean reading, watching a video, or speaking with others informally (like in an informal chat room). One of the best ways to prepare is to read or watch something in the evening before bed. My high school French teacher taught me this! This way, your brain will be "tuned" to your target language and possibly working and thinking in it while you sleep. Another way to get ready is to prepare a comfortable, cozy, space in which to take your class. A comfortable space will make learning enjoyable. Finally, congratulate yourself on taking the initiative to learn something new and relax as you look forward to your class.
